Çatalhöyük Promotion and Welcome Center: A Journey to the Past

The Çatalhöyük Promotion and Welcome Center takes visitors on a historical journey.

The Çatalhöyük Promotion and Welcome Center was established by the Konya Metropolitan Municipality. Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay emphasized the significant place of Çatalhöyük in the history of Anatolia, dating back approximately 10,000 years to the Neolithic period.

Mayor Altay stated, "The center, which has gained great admiration as a modern space offering in-depth information about our city's past, provides visitors with a unique experience. Visitors have the opportunity to explore the ancient settlement layout, daily life, and archaeological findings from that period of Çatalhöyük. I express my gratitude to the Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mr. Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, for contributing to the establishment of such an important center that will contribute to the development of tourism in Konya. I invite all history and archaeology enthusiasts who wish to trace the footsteps of the past to visit our center."
