The Ministry of Industry and Technology, Konya Governorship, Konya Metropolitan Municipality, and Konya Plain Project (KOP) Regional Development Administration signed protocols for 22 projects with a total budget of 128 million liras.
Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay emphasized that rural development has become increasingly important for metropolitan cities since the New Metropolitan Municipality Law in 2014, highlighting that Konya has always been the most prominent city in this regard.
Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır stated that with the protocol, they will implement 22 projects this year with a total budget of 128 million Turkish Lira. He emphasized that they will sign under projects that will revive Konya, the capital of agriculture, from modern irrigation facilities to livestock and greenhouse projects.
Following the speeches, the signatures of the 22 joint projects to be implemented with a budget of 128 million Turkish Lira were put into effect.
Among the projects is the Ilgın Harmanyazı Closed System Irrigation Facility project of Konya Metropolitan Municipality.
