Altay: “TRT Film Plateau is One of the Important Attractions of Konya”

Mayor of Konya Metropolitan Municipality Uğur İbrahim Altay visited TRT International Konya Film Plateau, built by Konya Metropolitan Municipality, Meram Municipality and Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT) in Meram Karahüyük District.

Altay stated that “The film plateaus is one of the important attraction areas of Konya. The 13th century of our Konya was rebuilt here. Here right now a 30-episode TV series about Mevlana is being shot. An important center with Seljuk Palace, Rumi’s house, madrasah, İplikçi Mosque and city walls have been formed where you will travel to 13th century Konya. We also want to use the plateau for tourism purposes. With the cooperation of Konya Metropolitan Municipality, Meram Municipality and TRT, a plateau has been formed where people who come here can see 13th century Konya.
