AWARDS FOR THE SELÇUKLU’S SUCCESSFUL ATHLETES OF 2024

Selçuklu Municipality held the “Selçuklu Stars Award Ceremony” for the athletes and coaches of Selçuklu Belediyespor Club who proudly represented our city and country in the National and International Championships held in 2024.

 Speaking at the award ceremony, Selçuklu Mayor Ahmet Pekyatırmacı said, “Our club’s athletes made us proud by winning a total of 173 medals, including 66 gold, 53 silver and 54 bronze, in the competitions they participated in 2024.”

Selçuklu Belediyespor Club, one of the biggest amateur sports clubs of Turkey, has 78 athletes who won awards in 12 different branches (Wushu Kung-Fu, Judo, Taekwondo, Kickboxing, Wrestling, Cycling, Weightlifting, Karate, Table Tennis, Chess, Archery, Gymnastics) in 2024. The Club achieved 1 World Third Place, 2 European Second Places, 2 European Third Places, 1 Balkan Champion, 2 Balkan Third Places, 30 Turkish Champions, 22 Turkish Second Places and 25 Turkish Third Places.
