A “Public Sector Occupational Health and Safety Panel” was organized by Konya Metropolitan Municipality with the participation of 250 people from 76 public institutions.
Speaking at the opening of the panel held at the Konya Metropolitan Municipality Taş Bina Culture and Art Center, Deputy Director General of Occupational Health and Safety at the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, Ömer Şahin, stated that the panel would serve not only to assess the current state of occupational health and safety in the public sector but also as an important platform for developing future-oriented solutions.
Şahin emphasized that, as the Directorate General, their strategic goal is to minimize work accidents and occupational diseases in all public institutions, just as in other fields and sectors, and to build a holistic and sustainable system that prioritizes employee health. He also thanked everyone who contributed to the organization of the panel.
Following the opening speeches, the “Public Sector Occupational Health and Safety Panel,” which would continue throughout the day in three sessions, began.
At the panel, which brought together 250 participants from 76 public institutions, experts in the field delivered presentations on the topic.
