Karatay Hoskubbe Library Opens to the Public

The Karatay Hoskubbe Public Library, completed by Karatay Municipality in Konya, was inaugurated in a ceremony.

Speaking at the opening of the center, Karatay Mayor Hasan Kılca stated, “Our children and youth have always been at the very heart of our service approach. In the Karatay Hoskubbe Public Library, the young people and children we welcome will enjoy limitless exploration of not just one but thousands of different worlds filled with books and knowledge, while also benefiting from quiet study areas that support their development. Hopefully, this place will reflect the best of friendship, sincerity, peace, consultation, and enrichment.”

The official opening ceremony for the project, designed with unique and original architectural features, was attended by Konya Governor İbrahim Akın, Konya Metropolitan Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay, AK Party Konya Deputies Selman Özboyacı, Mustafa Hakan Özer, and Latif Selvi, AK Party Konya Provincial Chairman Hasan Angı, MHP Konya Provincial Chairman Remzi Karaarslan, 27th Term AK Party Konya Deputy Ahmet Sorgun, Karatay Mayor Hasan Kılca, AK Party Konya Youth Branch Chairman İbrahim Kelek, Meram Mayor Mustafa Kavuş, Selçuklu Mayor Ahmet Pekyatırmacı, Karatay District Governor Cengiz Ayhan, Selçuklu District Governor Eflatun Can Tortop, Karatay District Director of National Education Sami Sağdıç, AK Party Karatay District Chairman Mehmet Genç, MHP Karatay District Chairman Mustafa Ünver, district governors from Karatay and other districts, the AK Party Karatay District Organization, district women’s and youth branch managers, members of the Karatay Municipality Council, local headmen, and residents.

Konya Metropolitan Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay emphasized that Konya, one of Turkey’s most important centers, is governed collaboratively, highlighting the city’s unity and solidarity.

Konya Governor İbrahim Akın spoke about the significance of the Karatay Hoskubbe Public Library, which was brought to the district by Karatay Municipality, and congratulated Karatay Mayor Hasan Kılca for this project.

Following the official speeches, the Karatay Hoskubbe Public Library, brought to the city by Karatay Municipality, was officially inaugurated with prayers. After cutting the opening ribbon, officials toured the facility and received information about it.
