Karatay Municipality Participates in CEVREFEST

Karatay Municipality participated in "CEVREFEST", the largest and most comprehensive environmental event in Turkey.

At the festival organized in Ankara by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change, Karatay Municipality set up a booth to showcase its Zero Waste, renewable energy, and eco-friendly projects to the visitors of CEVREFEST.

As part of Environment Week activities, "CEVREFEST," which aims to raise awareness about the environment and climate, was held at Ankara Nation's Garden under the main theme "We All Have One World."

Expressing particular importance to the issue of zero waste, Mayor Hasan Kılca of Karatay Municipality stated, "We produce services with a focus on people and the environment first. In this context, we have made significant efforts in areas such as Zero Waste, renewable energy, afforestation and greening, creating social awareness about the environment and zero waste through competitions, and more. By showcasing all of these at the environmental festival in Ankara, we have ensured that our work is heard and spread nationwide."
