The 11th Konya Book Days, organized by the Konya Metropolitan Municipality, concluded this year with the enthusiastic participation of thousands of book lovers.
Konya Metropolitan Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay stated that the 11th Book Days, held this year in the city of knowledge and wisdom, Konya, have made a significant contribution to the cultural life of the city and the region.
Mayor Altay emphasized that the Konya Book Days, which aim to promote the habit of reading and create a bridge between authors and readers, have continued to grow and enrich each year. He stated, "Our Book Days, a meeting point for book lovers of all ages, have once again made a significant contribution to the cultural and artistic life of Konya. The event included a variety of programs, ranging from discussions and panels to signing days and children's activities, concluding with high participation and a well-filled schedule. I would like to thank all the book lovers, publishers, and authors who joined this cultural feast from Konya and various cities across our country."
As the largest book event in Anatolia, the Konya Book Days hosted hundreds of discussions, workshops, performances, signing days, and countless activities over the course of nine days. During the Konya Book Days, hundreds of thousands of readers came together with millions of books, along with 250 publishers and 250 authors.
