Konya Celebrates National Sovereignty and Children’s Day with Events

National Sovereignty and Children’s Day was celebrated in Konya with various events.

The celebration events began with the laying of wreaths at the Atatürk Monument in Anıt Square.

The celebrations continued at the Selçuklu Congress Center, where a moment of silence was observed and the National Anthem was sung. Students also recited poems.

The celebration program was attended by Konya Governor İbrahim Akın, protocol members, military officials, students, teachers, and citizens.
