Konya Hosted the Cultural Economy Panel

A "Cultural Economy Panel" was organized at the Social Innovation Agency (SIA), established by the Konya Metropolitan Municipality.

The panel, hosted by the Social Innovation Agency, concluded as a comprehensive event addressing cultural and artistic production processes.

The panel was held as part of the project titled “Art Economy in Konya: Analysis of the Consumption and Production of Cultural and Artistic Products in the Process of Developing Innovative Art Policies,” supported by the Cultural Industries Research Grant Program. It provided a platform for discussing innovative perspectives and practices related to the art economy.

At the event, Prof. Dr. Sacit Hadi Akdede and Dr. Funda Lena, renowned for their work on art economy and cultural policies, engaged with young participants, including high school, undergraduate, and postgraduate students.

The experts shared their knowledge and experiences on the social and economic impacts of cultural and artistic production processes, as well as art policies.
