Konya Hosts Global Academic Conference

The "11th International Management Information Systems Conference," supported by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and TUBITAK, is being held in Konya.

Prof. Dr. Erol Turan, the Rector of Konya Food and Agriculture University, stated at the conference, which began on the university campus, that management information systems are a rapidly developing field that has fundamentally transformed the business world, public administration, and education systems on a global scale.

Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Izzet Gökhan Özbilgin emphasized that management information systems have become an increasingly significant field in recent times. He stated, "From cybersecurity to data science, from data science to cloud computing, every area related to social media is within our domain. In fact, we serve as an interface between business and information technology. We truly have an important responsibility, and in this sense, we are a valuable field that can be considered new."

The conference, attended by academics and students from both domestic and international locations, will last for three days.
