"Keykubad" in Konya to boost the morale of earthquake victims
accommodated due to the earthquake.
While trying to revive Hatay, which suffered a great
disaster during one of the biggest disasters in the country's history, Konya
Metropolitan Municipality also organizes various events for earthquake victims
hosted in Konya to alleviate the impact of the disaster.
The play "Keykubad", staged by Konya Metropolitan
Municipality City Theater for earthquake victim families, received great
interest.
The play "Keykubad", which was staged twice a day
at the Seljuk Congress Center, was inspired by historical events. Written by
Naci Taner Büyükarman and directed by Hüseyin Köroğlu, the play revolves around
the assassination of Seljuk Sultan Alaaddin Keykubat and the investigation of
the assassination, as well as an examination of why this tragic act was
committed.
Earthquake victim families who came to watch the theater
play expressed their satisfaction with the events and thanked Konya
Metropolitan Municipality for the activities.
