Mayor Altay: “Konya is one of the cities where Ramadan is celebrated in the most beautiful way.”

Konya Metropolitan Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay met with citizens after the Taraweeh prayer at Sultan Selim Mosque.

Mayor Altay, who greeted citizens at Türbeönü Bazaar and Bedesten and wished the shopkeepers good business, expressed that he was happy to share the peace of Ramadan with the people of Konya.

Mayor Altay stated that Konya's spiritual atmosphere brings peace to people's hearts, saying, "Konya is one of the cities where Ramadan is celebrated in the most beautiful way. The markets and bazaars are lively. Our people are filling the mosques with their children. We have reached the 15th of Ramadan, and I sincerely hope that we will reach Laylat al-Qadr and Ramadan Feast with health and blessings."
