New Step Toward Industry-Focused Education

Selcuk University and the Konya Organized Industrial Zone have signed a protocol to establish a new Technical Vocational School.

Selcuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Yılmaz stated that the vocational school will make a significant contribution to training the skilled workforce needed by the industry.

Mustafa Büyükeğen, Chairman of the Konya Chamber of Industry and the Konya Organized Industrial Zone Board, stated that they have the second largest industrial zone in Türkiye. He noted that more than 2,700 students are currently receiving education in the kindergarten, vocational training center, vocational high school, and vocational school located in the KOS Region.
