SAFELY Project Stands Out in Munich

The “SAFELY” project, in which Konya Metropolitan Municipality is a partner, was one of the standout projects at the EIT Urban Mobility Community Days 2025 held in Munich, Germany.

Konya Metropolitan Municipality continues to raise awareness by participating in significant urban mobility projects in Europe.

EIT Urban Mobility Community Days 2025, held in Munich, Germany, brought together over 260 participants for a major gathering in the field of urban mobility.

SAFELY is an innovative project designed to enhance the safety of vulnerable road users, particularly individuals with disabilities, pedestrians, cyclists, and motorcyclists. It offers a smart tool that analyzes accident data to identify high-risk areas in cities and proposes safety-enhancing measures.

The project is being carried out by a consortium led by the Technical University of Berlin, in collaboration with Parabol Company, Konya Metropolitan Municipality, and the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Traffic.
