Selçuklu Has a Larger Population Than 50 Provinces

According to the 2025 Address-Based Population Registration System data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute, Selçuklu, a district of Konya, continues to rank among Turkey’s largest metropolitan districts, with a population of 703,449, exceeding that of 50 provinces across the country.


According to population data for 2025 released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT), Selçuklu once again emerged as Konya’s most populous district.


According to the Address-Based Population Registration System, Selçuklu maintained its position among Turkey’s largest districts in 2025, with a population of 703,449, surpassing that of 50 provinces. With this increase, Selçuklu’s population grew by 3,091 people.


According to data from Turkish Statistical Institute, Yazır Neighborhood ranked first with a population of 69,553, followed by Bosna Hersek Neighborhood with 40,206 residents, while Sancak Neighborhood placed third with a population of 38,338.
