Sırçalı Hotel Gains International Sustainability Recognition

The Sırçalı Hotel was built by moving one of Konya’s biggest registered buildings. It has added new life to the city’s cultural heritage.

The hotel offers its guests stories of the past in its stone walls and traces of a deep-rooted civilization in its tile work, bringing together history and modern comfort under one roof.

This prestigious project, brought to life by rebuilding the registered structures within the Şükran Urban Transformation area in their original form, quickly earned full marks from its guests.

Although Sırçalı Hotel is one of the youngest businesses in the industry, it is quickly becoming a leading name in city tourism.

Bringing a fresh breath to Konya’s tourism and social life, Sırçalı Hotel is achieving significant successes in the industry. As part of the sustainable tourism program run by the Turkish Tourism Promotion and Development Agency, inspections based on criteria set by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) awarded Sırçalı Hotel the “Sustainable Tourism Certificate Stage 3.”

During this process, inspections carried out by the Turkish Standards Institution (TSE), an audit body accredited by GSTC, confirmed that Sırçalı Hotel meets environmental, social, and economic sustainability criteria at a high level. The hotel, known for its service quality, environmental awareness, and respectful approach to cultural values, has officially certified this commitment with an internationally recognized certificate.
