Tantavi Culture And Arts Center Hosts Bilal Erdoğan

Necmettin Bilal Erdoğan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the İlim Yayma Foundation, met with university students at the Tantavi Culture and Arts Centre, hosted by Meram Municipality. The program, organized under the title "Youth Meeting from Konya to the World" and moderated by Mustafa Tatlısu, attracted significant interest from students of Selçuk University, Necmettin Erbakan University, Konya Technical University, KTO Karatay University, Konya Food and Agriculture University, and Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University. At this important gathering, Bilal Erdoğan responded to the students' questions directly and sincerely.


"A STRONG TURKEY FOR PEACE AND JUSTICE"


Stating that the global system has moved away from producing justice, Erdoğan emphasized that Turkey must be strong in order to establish peace and fairness in the world. 


Recalling the words of the late Necip Fazıl Kısakürek, he said that "Wolves do not make this division even if lambs become kings." Erdoğan underlined the importance of a civilization vision centred on humanity.


"We cannot be content with a horizon confined to 780 thousand square kilometres. We must adopt a perspective that also embraces our spiritual geography." Erdoğan also mentioned about the strategic and cultural importance of Istanbul on a global scale.


"GAZA AND JERUSALEM ARE A HUMAN AND CONSCIENCE ISSUE"


Addressing questions regarding Gaza and Jerusalem during the program, Erdoğan stated that the Palestinian issue is not only a regional matter but also a humanitarian and moral one. Pointing to the importance of increasing social awareness, Erdoğan emphasized that each individual must fulfil their responsibility. Highlighting that cultural and civilizational awareness is of vital importance for young people, Erdoğan said, "The deeper our roots, the higher our branches will rise," stressing that historical consciousness and a vision for the future must be built together. Referring to developments in the fields of defence and technology, Erdoğan also emphasized the importance of making the best use of the opportunities of the age by following in the footsteps of the ancestors who achieved great breakthroughs in the past.

Meram Mayor Mustafa Kavuş, in his statement regarding the program, said, "We were very pleased to host Mr. Necmettin Bilal Erdoğan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the İlim Yayma Foundation, at our Tantavi Culture and Arts Center as part of the Youth Meeting. At the end of the program, Mustafa Kavuş presented Necmettin Bilal Erdoğan with a calligraphy artwork as a gift.
