The Most Special Sivlilik in Meram

The centuries-old tradition of Sivlilik in Konya was celebrated in Meram with great enthusiasm and excitement. Meram Mayor Mustafa Kavuş shared this joy and excitement with the special children of DOSD Meram.

Meram Mayor Mustafa Kavuş's second stop was the children receiving treatment at Necmettin Erbakan University Faculty of Medicine Hospital.

Mayor Mustafa Kavuş distributed Sivlilik treats to children who had to spend this special day in the hospital, accompanied by Necmettin Erbakan University Faculty of Medicine Dean Prof. Dr. Şükrü Nail Güner and Chief Physician Assoc. Dr. Hasan Küçükkendirci. During the emotional visit, Mayor Kavuş extended his get-well wishes to the children and their families.

Mayor Kavuş stated, “Our children experienced yet another unforgettable day in their lives. We were honored to share this special day with them. We stood by the children studying at DOSD Meram as well as those spending the day in the hospital. We wanted to ensure they were not deprived of this joy and that they received their share of the celebration. Their happiness and smiles became our own Sivlilik. May God grant them and their families patience, health, well-being, and happiness. We also pray for the swift recovery of our children in the hospital.”
