The shoe fair held in Konya after a 15-year hiatus received high marks from both manufacturers and visitors.
Konya-based shoe manufacturers who set up stands at the fair, attended by thousands of visitors from different cities in Turkey and various countries around the world, expressed the need for such fairs to be held regularly in the city.
The Nobel MASTER SHOES Shoe and Bag Fashion Fair, organized in collaboration with the Konya Shoemakers Chamber and the Konya Shoe Manufacturers Association (KASD), by Nobel Expo Fairs Inc., took place at the Konya TÜYAP International Fair Center from October 26th to 29th. The fair hosted more than 110 companies and over 200 brands. Within the scope of procurement delegations, participants from 52 countries showed interest in the fair, providing the opportunity for bilateral business meetings. The fair showcased a range of products, including shoes, bags, and slippers.
Emrah Sami, the Foreign Trade Responsible at Libero Shoes, emphasized that the shoe fair not only benefits the shoemakers but also makes important contributions to the city's economy. He expressed, "We are excited about the fair. It's a positive development for Konya. Visitors came from all over Turkey and abroad. Therefore, the fair contributes not only to the shoe industry but also benefits hotel owners and street shops. Overall, it has a positive impact on Konya's economy. I believe that the continuation of such fairs would be beneficial for both our city and the business community."
