The Wind of the Mountains: Yılkı Horses

Nature lovers, who set off from the Seydişehir district of Konya and traveled 100 kilometers, saw Yılkı Horses in the Geyik Mountains.


The Geyik Mountains are mountain ranges in the north-east of Antalya, starting from the northernmost point of the Dedegöl Mountains and extending to the Taşeli Plateau, at the point where the Western Taurus connects with the Central Taurus. It is possible to see snow on the north-facing hill slopes of these mountain ranges, even in summer.


Yılkı Horses, which live in the Göktepe Highlands at an altitude of 2,300 in the Alanya district of Antalya, are the focus of attention of nature lovers. Horses grazing on the plateau on the Geyik Mountains and drinking water from the ponds formed by the snow waters are walking together. Yılkı Horses attracts the attention of photographers and nature lovers visiting the region.
