Konya Brings Timeless Sema Tradition to France

A Sema Ceremony was performed in the French city of Strasbourg by the Turkish Sufi Music and Sema Ensemble of Konya Metropolitan Municipality.

Organized in cooperation with the Strasbourg Religious Services Attaché and the Turkish Islamic Union for Religious Affairs, the program was held at one of the city’s most prestigious venues.

At the event, which attracted strong interest, the universal messages of Mevlana Celaleddin Rumi were presented to art lovers through Sufi music and the sema ritual.

Throughout the sema ceremony, Konya’s deep-rooted spiritual heritage was brought to the stage, and the program received great appreciation from the audience.
