Another International Medal for Konya Sports Club

Athletes of Konya Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club continue to achieve success, winning medals on the international stage.

The UCI Grand Prix Antalya, marking the opening of the 2026 winter racing season, was held amid great excitement. In the event, which featured 70 athletes from 10 countries, Mustafa Tarakçı of Konya Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club stood out with his impressive performance.

Having also successfully represented Türkiye at the 2026 UEC European Track Cycling Championships, hosted by Konya between 1–5 February, Tarakçı achieved double success in the races in Antalya. The national cyclist, who was the youngest athlete in the competition, won gold medals in both the General Classification and the U23 category, bringing great pride.
