Another Judo Championship Victory!

Fatma Zehra Meki, a member of Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor’s judo team, won the championship at the Judo European Cup held in Antalya, making both Konya and Turkey proud.

The Nazım Canca Junior Judo European Cup was held in Antalya on March 8-9. A total of 448 athletes from 24 countries competed in the tournament, bringing exciting success to Konya. Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor judoka Fatma Zehra Meki stood out with her outstanding performance in the championship.

Competing in the 44 kg category, the young athlete defeated all her opponents to claim the gold medal. With this victory, Meki proudly represented both Büyükşehir Belediyespor and Turkey, raising great hopes for the future.

Turkey won a total of 10 medals, including 4 gold, 3 silver, and 3 bronze. Finishing second among 24 countries in the medal rankings, the national team made a strong impact on the Junior European Cup.
