Konya Athletes Deliver Strong Results in International Races

Track cycling national team athletes from Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor successfully represented Turkey across different continents while wearing the national team jersey.

In races included in the programs of the International Cycling Union (UCI) and the Turkish Cycling Federation, Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor cyclists Ramazan Yılmaz, Mustafa Tarakcı, and Göktürk Yüzerler competed in the national team jersey.

At the Open Track Meeting held in Belgium, Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor athlete Mustafa Tarakcı delivered an impressive performance, winning a bronze medal in the U23 Points Race and taking gold in the Elite Elimination event.

Another Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor athlete, Göktürk Yüzerler, also competed in the same event as part of the national squad.

Ramazan Yılmaz, who competed at the UCI Track World Cup in Hong Kong, also stood out with his performance in the Elimination race. The national rider advanced to the final after finishing third in a tough qualifying round and went on to place eighth in the final.

These international achievements by Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor athletes not only contribute to the development of Turkish cycling but also serve as a strong source of motivation for young riders.
