Konya Gains Global Attention with Its Expanding Bike Path Network

Konya continues to strengthen its position as one of the leading cycling cities in the world with its extensive bicycle path network, which now spans around 550 kilometers.

Cycling has long been a part of daily life in Konya, and the city is constantly improving its infrastructure to create safer and more comfortable routes for cyclists. With over 600,000 bicycles in use, many residents choose to cycle instead of drive whenever the weather allows.

According to the Konya Metropolitan Municipality, the city has Türkiye’s longest and most integrated bicycle path network.
