Konya Hosts Archery Tournament

In 2023, Konya, the World Capital of Sports, hosted another significant sports event at the national level.

The "Sports Konya" project, organized by the Konya Metropolitan Municipality, held the Turkey Archery Tournament. In this tournament, 462 athletes from 26 cities and 32 clubs competed in various age categories to hit the target from a distance of twelve. The successful athletes who achieved top rankings in the competition were rewarded with prizes.

Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur Ibrahim Altay expressed his gratitude to all the athletes who participated in the archery tournament, which took place over three days and saw great excitement in the children, youth, and adult categories.

The Sports Konya Archery Tournament, hosted by Konya Metropolitan Municipality, took place with the participation of hundreds of athletes from 26 different cities in Turkey, creating a great sense of excitement.

Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay stated that as the 2023 World Capital of Sports, Konya continued to host numerous significant national and international sports events throughout the year.
