Konya Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club Finishes Second in Judo Super League

Konya Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club Judo Team achieved a major success by finishing second at the Women’s Super League competitions held in Ankara.

Konya Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club Judo Team delivered an impressive performance at the Women’s Super League competitions held in Ankara on December 26, securing second place overall. Competing with a squad made up of young and U23 athletes, the team advanced to the finals among 16 Super League teams and earned a proud result for Konya.

Throughout the season, the Konya-based team showed consistent determination and strong teamwork, carrying its success into the final stage of the league. By finishing second, the team also qualified to represent both Konya and Türkiye at the European Clubs Championship to be held in 2026.

This achievement is considered an important milestone for the athletes and the technical staff, while also contributing to the continued development of judo in Konya. The club congratulated its athletes and coaching team for their dedication and outstanding performance.
