Konya Takes Crucial Win Against Çayırova

The 28th week of the Turkish Basketball League has concluded with hard-fought matches.

Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor faced its top-of-the-table rival Çayırova Belediyespor in front of its home crowd.

In a tightly contested game, Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor gave its opponent no chance in any quarter and finished the week with an 86–84 victory.

Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor made a strong start to the game with the Alp–Williams–Coffey trio and finished the first quarter ahead 28–20. Maintaining their determined play against a tough opponent in the second quarter, the yellow-and-blacks went into halftime with a nine-point lead, 46–37.

Although the visiting team scored more points in the third quarter, Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor carried the score to 66–60 before the final period. The last quarter saw intense competition. Struggling at first to break through Çayırova’s defense, Büyükşehir managed to score 20 points in the quarter and emerged victorious from the contest with an 86–84 win.

With this result, Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor secured its 21st win in the league, increased its points total to 49, and maintained its place in 4th position.
