Konya Wins Nine Medals at Turkish Athletics Championships

The Yeşilay U23 and Senior Turkish Athletics Championships were held in İzmir from July 3 to 5, 2026. Athletes representing Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor delivered an outstanding performance, winning a total of nine medals—four gold, two silver, and three bronze.

The club’s gold medalists were Cuma Özcan in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, Seyhun Efe Bükmen in the combined events, Burak Yılmaz in the U23 triple jump, and Celalettin Nigar in the U20 combined events.

Yonca Kutluk claimed silver in the 5,000 meters, while Enes Talha Şenses finished second in the high jump. Bronze medals were won by Berra Yıldız in the U20 combined events, Enbiya Yazıcı in the 5,000 meters, and İsmail Gündoğdu in the javelin throw.
