Meram Belediyespor delivered an impressive performance at the Turkish Kickboxing Championship, winning two national titles and two bronze medals. The club also celebrated the selection of its athletes to the Turkish national team, where they will represent the country at the upcoming World and European Championships.
Competing at the Turkish Kickboxing Championship held in Bolu, Meram Belediyespor stood out among hundreds of athletes from across Türkiye with its strong performances and medal-winning results. In addition to its success on the podium, the club took pride in having several athletes selected for the national team.
In the fiercely contested championship, Meram Belediyespor athletes reached the podium through disciplined preparation, determination, and outstanding performances. Emircan Abdullah Beserek claimed the national title in the Senior Men's 75 kg category, while Mehmet Ali Dereli won gold and became the Turkish champion in the Junior Men's 75 kg division.
The club also earned two bronze medals. Ayşe Ebrar Aygün finished third in the Senior Women's 56 kg category, while Sadık Utku Akat secured third place in the Junior Men's 63.5 kg division.
Following their success at the championship, Meram Belediyespor athletes earned places on the Turkish national team and the opportunity to compete on the international stage. The junior national team members will represent Türkiye at the World Kickboxing Championship, which will be held in Italy in September. Senior national team athletes will compete at the European Kickboxing Championship in North Macedonia in November.
The club's national team selections are regarded as a clear reflection of Meram Belediyespor's commitment to developing young athletes and investing in its sports infrastructure.
