Playoff Stage Opens for Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor in Basketball League

The 2025–2026 regular season of the Turkish Basketball League has come to an end, and the excitement of the playoffs has now begun.

Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor, which successfully represents Konya in the league, completed the 34-game season in a competition featuring 18 teams with 23 wins and 11 losses.

With 57 points collected, the yellow and black team finished the regular season in 4th place, securing a playoff spot while maintaining its position among the top teams.

Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor drew attention throughout the season, particularly with its strong home performances. The yellow-and-blacks secured 14 wins in 17 matches played at the Selçuklu Municipality Sports Hall, turning strong fan support into a clear advantage over their opponents. Losing only three home games, the team stood out for its impressive record on home court.

With the regular season concluded, attention has turned to the playoff matchups. Konya Büyükşehir Belediyespor has been paired with Fenerbahçe Koleji Rams in the quarter-finals.

The best-of-two series will begin on Thursday, April 30 in Konya at the Selçuklu Municipality Sports Hall, with tip-off scheduled for 17.00. The return leg will be played on Sunday, May 3 in Istanbul at the Fenerbahçe Metro Energy Sports Hall, starting at 16.30.
