Torku Şeker Sports' Paralympic athlete Emine Seçkin won a silver medal in the tournament in Bahrain.
Between May 17th and 23rd, Torku Şeker Sports' physically disabled athlete Emine Seçkin, participated in the International Para-Badminton Tournament held in Manama, Bahrain. Teaming up with her Indian partner, she reached the finals of the mixed doubles event. In a highly competitive match, Seçkin and her partner finished second after losing to their opponents from Belgium and Hong Kong. Winning a silver medal at the Bahrain International Para-Badminton Tournament, which grants points for the Paris Olympic Games, Torku Şeker Sports' physically disabled athlete Emine Seçkin also competed in the WH2 women's singles event. However, she was eliminated in the quarterfinals by the Chinese Olympic champion.
Emine Seçkin, who stated that she must earn points from every tournament and match in order to qualify for the Paralympic Games, expressed her happiness in bringing medals to her country and her club, Torku Şeker Sports. She said, "I am very happy to have represented my country for the first time in the Tokyo Paralympic Games, and my goal is to represent Turkey in the Paris Paralympic Games as well. That's why I'm working very hard, and I will do my best to be successful."
