Another First from Konya Metropolitan Municipality

Konya Metropolitan Municipality Intercity Bus Terminal continues to stand out with exemplary projects across Türkiye.

Thanks to the Fast Pass System implemented in cooperation between Konya Metropolitan Municipality and PTT, the traditional ticket booth system at the bus terminal has been removed, as all buses are equipped with HGS tags, and transactions are now carried out more quickly online.

The system reduces operating costs by saving on personnel, and by using the same infrastructure as the HGS system employed on highways, bridges, and motorways, the application is being implemented at a bus terminal for the first time in Türkiye.

With the implementation of the system, vehicle and passenger waiting times at the terminal checkpoint have been reduced, thereby increasing passenger satisfaction. Travel agencies and bus drivers have also expressed their satisfaction with the system, as payment queues and receipt and invoicing procedures have been eliminated.
