Meram Mayor Mustafa Kavuş has added a new step to the vision of digital transformation in municipal services. At a press conference, he introduced three new artificial intelligence-supported digital applications to the public.
Pointing out that municipal work today is not only about building roads and arranging parks, but also about providing these services at the right time, with the right methods, and in the highest quality, Mayor Kavuş said:
“The most efficient and fastest way to achieve this is by using technology effectively. The future will belong to those who make the best use of technology. The municipality of the future is the one that delivers services through technology in the most accurate way. With this approach, Meram is already living the future today. Our streets are now more beautiful, our services faster, and Meram is becoming a much more livable district.”
Mayor Kavuş shared the following details about the district’s development:
“Meram has been quietly undergoing a ‘Digital Transformation’ for quite some time. From the very first day we took office, we have implemented many digital applications such as the Task Management System, MEPKAS Electronic Project Control and Archiving System, Geographic Information System (GIS), 3D Inspections with Drones, Risky and Unauthorized Building Process Management, My Park is Safe, Monitoring with Body Cameras, Vehicle Tracking Systems, Digital Archive, e-Government Integration, e-Signature Applications, and Waste Collection through IoT. Thanks to these projects, municipal services have become faster, transparency has increased, savings have been achieved, and citizen satisfaction has reached the highest level.”
