Future Engineers Get Acquainted with Konya's Technological Vision

The Capsule Technology Platform, implemented by Konya Metropolitan Municipality, hosted students living abroad and studying in the fields of engineering at the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels.

In collaboration with the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) and Turkish Aerospace Industries, Inc. (TUSAŞ), and under the hosting of Konya Metropolitan Municipality, students pursuing undergraduate, master's, and doctoral studies in the field of engineering and residing abroad visited Konya.

As part of the Sky Global Turkish Internship Program Cultural Tour, students who visited the city had the opportunity to closely experience Konya's rich historical and cultural heritage, as well as its technology vision.

Within the scope of their Konya programs, students conducted examinations at the Capsule Technology Platform, which was implemented by Konya Metropolitan Municipality, with the aim of contributing to the National Technology Initiative and making Konya a hub of technology excellence.

During the visit, students were informed about smart city applications reflecting Konya's technology vision and the “Konya Model Municipality” vision.

Students who visited Konya as part of their summer internship expressed their admiration for the Capsule Technology Platform, stating that the working areas within the platform were constructed in a motivating manner for employees.

As part of the Cultural Tour, 47 interns who came to Konya had the opportunity to closely experience the city's rich history, cultural heritage, and technology vision.

The Sky Global Turkish Internship Program, in collaboration with YTB and TUSAŞ, aims to enhance the connections of Turkish youth living abroad with their homeland, provide support for their educational processes and professional development, and promote educational collaboration between Turkey and other countries.
