The Konya Technology Museum exhibits around 130 artifacts, including computers, phones, typewriters, cameras, and recording devices, dating back from the 1900s to the present day.
The technology museum, initiated by the Konya Metropolitan Municipality KOSKI General Directorate, takes technology enthusiasts on a journey through the past.
Old technological devices within the Konya Metropolitan Municipality KOSKI General Directorate have been brought together and put on display to serve as a bridge from the past to the present.
The KOSKI Technology Museum, where approximately 130 products ranging from the 1900s to the present such as computers, telephones, typewriters, cameras, and recording devices are exhibited, attracts the interest of technology enthusiasts.
The museum curator, Ahmet Kıyıcı, stated that they decided to create a technology museum by bringing together technological devices used from the past to the present, whether they belong to the municipality or to the citizens.
Kıyıcı stated, "We collected the products we had on hand. Afterwards, with donations from the private sector, other institutions, and our citizens, we created this museum, and we continue to expand it. In our museum, we have various technological products dating from the 1900s to the present. We have devices such as old computers, telephones, typewriters, cameras, and recording devices. We have close to 130 items."
