Konya hosted a 24-hour marathon for urban challenges

The Konya Metropolitan Municipality Capsule Technology Platform organized an event at the Zindankale Campus, where participants from Konya and other cities competed for 24 hours to develop innovative solutions for significant urban issues such as "Smart Transportation and Mobility," "Climate Change," "Zero Waste," "Green Energy," and "Disaster and Emergency."



Participants, aiming to provide solutions to critical issues that will impact the future of the community, presented their projects to a jury consisting of experts from the relevant departments of the Konya Metropolitan Municipality.



In the evaluation and results section of the marathon, significant projects that stood out for their solutions to environmental and local issues were rewarded.



Arda Tohumoğlu, a student from the Industrial Design Department of Selçuk University Faculty of Fine Arts, won the first prize in the "Smart and Sustainable City Solutions Ideathon" organized by the Konya Metropolitan Municipality with his project called "Life Capsule."
