Necmettin Erbakan University Continues to Develop UAVs

The Göktürk team, consisting of students from Necmettin Erbakan University, has been successful in national and international competitions. In the last 5 years, the team has won first place in all 5 competitions they have participated in. The Göktürk team continues to achieve success with the UAV technologies they have developed.



Necmettin Erbakan University students, under the supervision of Dr. Emrehan Yavşan, a research assistant in the Department of Mechatronics Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, are developing projects to make unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) more efficient.


The team, which consists of students Kürşat Çiçin, Kadir Aslanpınar, Ali Kankaya, Sena Türker, İlknur Keskin, Halit Hakan Hızlı, Emine Çağlar, Fatma Yalçınkaya, Dilara Sevim Polat, and Hediye Orhan, is working on a variety of projects to improve the performance, safety, and affordability of UAVs.


In this context, the team plans to carry out transportation activities within the university campus using the unmanned aerial vehicles they have developed. The team aims to ensure that sensitive materials such as blood tests and samples are transported faster and more safely.
