New AI Training Collaboration in Konya

Prof. Dr. Osman Nuri Çelik, the Rector of Konya Technical University, and Taner Taşkıran, the Regional Director of the Communication Directorate in Konya, met to discuss the topic of artificial intelligence training in the media sector.

In the meeting, it was decided to initiate a joint training program aimed at enhancing digital skills for media professionals and integrating artificial intelligence technologies into journalism processes.

The new training program, designed for journalists, editors, cameramen, and other professionals working in the media sector, will cover topics such as the use of artificial intelligence in the media industry, data privacy, and AI ethics. It will also include hands-on training to help participants adapt to these technologies.

Rector Prof. Dr. Osman Nuri Çelik stated, "As Konya Technical University, we are very pleased to collaborate with the Communication Directorate's Konya Regional Office to support digital transformation in the media sector and help media professionals adapt to new technologies. This program will contribute to the development of innovative approaches in the industry through both theoretical and practical modules."
