The Konya Science Center, Turkey's first and largest science center, supported by TUBITAK and established by the Konya Metropolitan Municipality, hosted the TUBITAK 4003-A Large Scale Science Centers Managers Meeting.
The Konya Science Center, under the administration of the Konya Metropolitan Municipality, hosted science center managers from 13 different cities across Turkey during the TUBITAK 4003-A Large Scale Science Centers Managers Meeting.
During the meeting, various topics were discussed, including the presentation of a joint draft calendar containing festivals and all special events that science centers would organize throughout the year 2024. Information sharing took place regarding the Science Communication Certificate Program, the current status of the Science Center Trainer Training Program, presentations on efforts related to science talks, discussions on meetings scheduled for 2024, and sharing of goals, events, and purposes determined by science centers for the year 2024.
Representatives from various science centers, including officials from TUBITAK, attended the meeting hosted by the Konya Science Center. Participants came from science centers in Kayseri, Kocaeli, Elazığ, Trabzon, Şanlıurfa, Antalya, Esenler, Samsun, Denizli, Düzce, Aksaray, Altındağ, and Üsküdar.
