The Drones Designed by Selçuk University Are Attracting Strong Interest

At TEKNOFEST, visitors are showing great interest in the drones designed by İbrahim Alper Aydın, a Selçuk University Faculty of Technology student who took first place in the Inter-University Sports Drone Competition in 2022 and 2023.

At the Selçuk University TEKNOFEST booth, İbrahim Alper Aydın, a 4th-year student in the Faculty of Technology's Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department, along with Süleyman Korucu, a Drone Referee from the Turkish Aeronautical Association, are providing information about the FPV drones they designed.

Aydın, whose advisor is Selçuk University Faculty of Technology Assistant Professor Hakan Terzioğlu, once again secured first place at the Inter-University Sports Drone Competition held in Antalya on May 17-18, 2023. Expressing gratitude to Selçuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy for his support, Aydın mentioned that they were able to practice in the designated area provided for them, which contributed to their success.
