Konya Holds Cinema Days in Rural Districts

Konya Metropolitan Municipality is once again bringing summer evenings to life in districts outside the city center through its “Cinema Days” event.

Organized to extend cultural and artistic activities to outlying districts and neighborhoods, the first stop of this year’s Cinema Days was the district of Halkapınar.

The film Son Sefer (The Last Journey), screened aboard the municipality’s mobile Cinema Truck, attracted strong interest from residents of all ages.

THE LAST JOURNEY

The Last Journey follows Ercan (Zafer Algöz), a bus driver preparing for retirement, on his final route on the night of July 15, 2016. What begins as an ordinary journey turns into a fight to defend the country during the attempted coup.

As part of the Cinema Days program, the Konya Metropolitan Municipality’s Cinema Truck will continue visiting different districts and neighborhoods outside the city center, offering children and families memorable summer evenings.
