Konya Mayor Visits Local Art Exhibitions

Konya Metropolitan Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay visited the calligraphy, marbling, engraving, and ney exhibitions at the art galleries within Meydan Houses as part of the Türkiye Culture Road Festival.

Konya Metropolitan Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay visited the art galleries in Meydan Houses to view the calligraphy, marbling, engraving, and ney exhibitions held as part of the Türkiye Culture Road Festival.

Mayor Altay received information from the artists about the exhibition and stated that the renovated Meydan Houses, part of Turkey’s largest restoration initiative, the Darülmülk Revival Project, will contribute significantly to Konya’s cultural and social life.

Mayor Altay thanked the artists involved in the exhibitions and then toured the Bicycle Museum at Meydan Houses, established by Konya Metropolitan Municipality, where the interior setup is still ongoing.

Mayor Altay also visited the businesses opened in Meydan Houses, greeting both shopkeepers and visitors.
