Konya Chamber of Commerce Holds October Meeting

The October Ordinary Assembly Meeting of the Konya Chamber of Commerce was held.

The meeting, which was opened by Assembly President Ahmet Arıcı, began with a presentation by Dr. Lecturer Saim Ervural, the Director of the Smart Technologies Center (AKITEK). He discussed the work carried out in three separate departments within AKITEK: Software and Modeling, Rapid Prototyping and Measurement, and Instrumentation and Testing.

Meryem Betül Özkardeş, President of the TOBB Konya Women Entrepreneurs Board Executive Committee, and Erhan Öncan, also President of the TOBB Konya Women Entrepreneurs Board Executive Committee, provided a presentation where they informed the assembly about the activities carried out by the executive committees during the one-year period following the elections held in October 2023.

Ali Deresoy, a member of the KTO Assembly and Chairman of the KTO Arbitration and Mediation Center (KTOTAM) Council, who spoke during the meeting, stated that since its establishment, KTOTAM, located within the Faculty of Law building at KTO Karatay University, has conducted 584 mediation sessions and achieved a high success rate.

Chairman of the Board, Selçuk Öztürk, expressed his gratitude to the guests for their presentations during his speech, in which he evaluated the agenda items.

Öztürk stated that the Executive Committees of the TOBB Konya Women and Young Entrepreneurs Boards have been actively working and carrying out significant projects during their one-year term of activity.

President Öztürk, who celebrated the 101st anniversary of the founding of the Republic, concluded his speech by presenting the activities of the Konya Chamber of Commerce, KTO Karatay University, and KTOTEK.
