The Karatay Hacı Sıddıka Katırcı Family Health Center and Hacı Hasan Katırcı Healthy Life Center, established in the Akabe Neighborhood, were inaugurated with an official ceremony.
Konya Governor İbrahim Akın stated that the center will further strengthen the city’s healthcare infrastructure by providing safe and accessible primary healthcare services to around 15,000 citizens, and he wished the facility to be beneficial for the district.
Karatay Mayor Hasan Kılca emphasized that they continue to strengthen Karatay’s healthcare infrastructure day by day, saying, “We take pride in having brought eight new healthcare facilities to our district over the past seven years.”
Established through the collaboration of Karatay Municipality, philanthropist Celalettin Hakan Katırcı, and the Konya Provincial Health Directorate, the center brings together healthy living services and family healthcare services under one roof, making it even easier for citizens to access healthcare.
The center, which will serve in a total indoor area of 1,600 square meters, will cater not only to the Akabe Neighborhood but also to the entire Karatay district, including nearby areas, with its modern infrastructure, spacious architecture, and equipment designed to meet contemporary needs.
