Visitors to the dazzling Savatra Ancient City, with its thousands of years of history, compare it to the world-renowned Ephesus Ancient City in Izmir. The restoration work at the ancient site is being carried out by the Karatay Municipality.

The ancient city of Savatra, whose history dates back to the 4th century BC, carries the deep cultural heritage of Anatolia. Located at the 60th kilometer of the Konya-Aksaray highway, Savatra developed due to its position along trade routes. In ancient times, the city enriched its wealth by selling water to trading caravans.
