Selçuk University Ranked Among Türkiye’s Top 20 Universities

 Selçuk University has achieved a significant success in the 2025–2026 World University Rankings released by the University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP). Continuing to steadily improve its scientific productivity and international academic visibility, the university rose 56 places compared to the 2024–2025 rankings, reaching 1,134th position worldwide.

The university also ranked 18th among Turkish universities, further strengthening its position in the national higher education landscape.

The URAP World Ranking evaluates the top 3,000 universities globally based on their academic performance. The ranking is determined using six key indicators of academic productivity: number of articles, citation count, total scientific documents, overall publication impact, total citation impact, and international collaboration.

Focused on scientific publication performance, the URAP methodology is regarded as an important measure of a university’s research capacity and international academic influence.
