Rose Season Begins at Karatay Mevlana Rose Park

Karatay Mevlana Rose Park, located in the Karaaslan Üzümcü Neighborhood and spanning 14,000 square meters, has once again begun welcoming visitors with the arrival of the rose season.


Home to 50,000 roses representing 190 different varieties, the park is attracting significant interest from residents thanks to its vibrant colors and distinctive fragrance. Welcoming large numbers of visitors each day, the park has become a favorite destination, particularly for photography enthusiasts and families.


Offering a peaceful setting for those seeking to spend time in nature, Mevlana Rose Park stands out with its shaded swings, rose umbrella, rose arches, walking paths, and rose trees. Serving as a natural studio for both professional and amateur photographers, the park also hosts photo shoots for special occasions.


Karatay Mayor Hasan Kılca stated that Mevlana Rose Park has become one of the district’s most important recreational areas and noted that it continues to attract strong public interest in the new season.


Emphasizing that the park, which has appealed to visitors of all ages since the day it opened, is experiencing one of its most beautiful periods of the year with the blooming season, Mayor Kılca said:
