Selçuk University Ranks Fourth in Community-Focused Initiatives in Turkey

Selçuk University ranked fourth among universities in Turkey with 328 social responsibility projects.

According to the data from the Higher Education Council, universities are implementing a total of 4,668 social responsibility projects in various areas such as environment, education, disadvantaged groups, culture, art, sports, and animal rights.

Selçuk University reaches out to the community through social responsibility projects conducted both institutionally and in collaboration with students, in addition to its educational, instructional, and research activities within this scope.

Selçuk University aims to integrate the university and society through solution-oriented approaches to societal issues. The university aims to enhance students' learning experiences by combining theory and practice during the educational process, fostering awareness of societal issues, and developing skills for generating solutions.

Selçuk University stands out among universities, especially with its projects targeting individuals with disabilities, children, women, the elderly, and various segments of society. The university distinguishes itself through initiatives aimed at addressing needs and promoting solidarity and mutual assistance.

Selçuk University demonstrated its integration with the community by showing a collective example of solidarity, particularly in the aftermath of the earthquake in Kahramanmaraş.

Selçuk University provided support to the earthquake-affected region in various areas such as blood donation campaigns and psychosocial assistance. The university presented significant examples in the field of social responsibility with projects aimed at helping the region recover and stand on its feet again.
